The 10th house is complete!
Volunteers are now welcome to participate in the renovation of our office/warehouse space as we make room for a resale shop. The building, located at 320 E RIchmond Street in Shawano, is open for this purspose on Fridays and Saturdays from 9 AM to 5 PM weekly.
Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older (16 if accompanied by an adult) and must sign a liability waiver to be on the work site. Bring a hammer, a pair of work gloves and a lunch if you plan to stay the whole day. A construction supervisor will be on site to assign tasks according to your abilities and interests.
A little time or a lot, a day now and then or every work day, all volunteers are welcome. Even if you don't want to "swing a hammer", there's always room for helpers, and no work crew has ever objected to a cookie or doughnut break if that's the way you'd like to participate. Be ready to have a good time as you work side by side with old friends and new!
