Builds​

New Construction

     Our mission is to build homes for economically challenged families. We love volunteers to help! While construction skills are always helpful, anyone who has a passion for construction and helping families will be welcome.

Group Volunteering

     We encourage groups (churches, businesses, youth groups, community groups, etc.) to work together on our projects. Working side by side will not only meet the needs of our partner families but also promote team building and camaraderie.

​

Habitat ReStore Wolf River

     The Habitat ReStore offers a wide variety of volunteer opportunities to match your interests and skill level. Whether you are a student, working professional, senior citizen, or anything in between, we have rewarding volunteer positions that offer flexible schedules.

​

     General Volunteer Opportunities:

•      Receiving and Donation Preparation

•      ​Warehouse - Organizing and moving inventory​

•      Tinkerers - A group of dedicated volunteers who help assess             and make minor repairs

•      Metal Recycling

•      Cashiers

•      Office Work - mailing, maintaining records, thank you letters, etc.

•      Assisting on the Delivery/pick-up truck

•      Property Maintenance - lawn mowing, snow removal,                         landscaping, painting, cleaning, etc.

Committees

​

     We have several committees that exist to support Habitat for Humanity's work. We welcome those who would like to serve on those committees.

​

Building / Site Selection

     Investigating and researching the availability of property and recommending property to the board of directors for purchase.  Planning and implementing the construction projects.

​

Family Selection and Support

     Mortgage loan origination, sweat equity, assisting customers with the process and with home preservation.

​

Development / Relationships

     Community outreach, i.e. golf outing, newsletter, ads, etc.

​

Finance

     Fiduciary oversight and when necessary, making financial recommendations to the board of directors.

​

ReStore

     Chaired by the store manager: will promote efficient operation of the store.

​
